Gino SilverFox (Creative Director & Founder)
Gino started his dance training with Kathrine Edgett through the Dalhousie University Acting Program. He had the privilege to study four years of intensive Jazz with one of Canada’s best instructors. He started Salsa as a hobby that soon became an addiction due to its rhythmic movements and jazz based elements. “I have always believed that structure and discipline combined with freedom of creativity brings out the best out of artists. My intention has always been to draw idea’s and technical abilities from other dance disciplines through ongoing cross training and exchanging of know how from other teachers". Gino’s love for Dance is seen in his ongoing training in Ballet, Ballroom and Salsa. “I have fallen in love with movement in general and that is what has led me to experience various forms of Body disciplines such as: Yoga, Ti Chi, Martial Arts, NIA technique and Fitness training.”
Gino is the Director and Choreographer of the b&b Dance Team. With his background in Theatre he has brought a new vision for the Choreographies that is best described as "Fusion' with a more showy and theatrical feel to their performances than just plain Salsa. "Routines have to keep the audience engaged and excited! It has to touch the viewer on an emotional level as well as an intellectual level and that is what we strive to achieve here"
Audrey Cameron (Creative Director & Founder)
Co-founder of Bella&Bello Dance Movement and Creative Director: Audrey joined our Team in 2008. Her thirteen year experience in Training, Directing and Performance in the world of Figure Skating made her a perfect candidate for our Dance Team. True to her past experience she picked up the art of Salsa with great enthusiasm. Her ongoing training in Salsa, Ballroom and Ballet has made her a great dancer and knowledge base. She has dedicated her time in making this organisation a living breathing Team. “It has been a breath of fresh air to be part of a Team that is ever so growing and enthusiastic in what they do” She is the Director & Choreographer of the b&b Dance Team along with her dance partner Gino.
